About Me

& My Personal Commitment to Service

I was lucky enough to be brought up in a home where service was not only talked about but practiced regularly. As a youth, I often participated begrudgingly and would fail to gain any value from the experiences. It wasn’t until I left my home and lived for 2 years in Mexico that I was able to really begin to understand how life-changing it is to forget yourself in favor of being the champion of another person’s cause. Since my experience in Mexico I have married and become the father to 4 amazing kids. Needless to say my opportunities to serve are at an all-time high.

In the dog eat dog world of business it is not uncommon to see people step over others on their way to the top. I do not believe that personal success and the success of others are mutually exclusive. What I do know is that, as an individual, I feel much more fulfilled by succeeding together rather than summiting my personal achievements solo. My commitment to service stems from a great desire to celebrate the achievements of others more than I celebrate my own.

My "Why Keyser"

It’s no secret that we at Keyser place a lot of emphasis on our 15 core operating principles. Spend 5 seconds in the Keyser office and you will find them plastered on walls, printed on cards and being referred to on a daily basis. What’s impressive, however, is not the thought with which they were crafted nor their prevalence in the office space. What’s impressive about Keyser is that you could never read those 15 principles and yet already know them simply by meeting one of Keyser’s employees. I chose Keyser because I believe that those who practice what they preach can generally be trusted.
